in fact, it's easier said than done. as far as i am concerned, if someone happens to hurt me badly and on purpose, then i won't forgive and neither forget. however, if it's a misunderstanding I could let it go but i'll try to make sure that it won't happen again.

Forgiveness does NOT mean forget ..

Forgive and forget is generally an unrealistic ideal. I will sexplain why :

our memories are not selective : we can not select what to remembre and we can forget ...

We remember all sorts of things, particularly those that caused strong emotional reactions in us. You will not forget what happened, especially if it was severe, it still hold somewhere in our heart but we can let it go , move it to the past and keep going !

It's all depending on the situation, or the error one has done!! There are "pains" we can bear, forgive and even forget, others not ...!
Sometimes we can forgive, but have hard time to forget, and sometimes we cannot even forgive. But i think the latter case is rare!!
